Join us on Saturday, May 4th, from 11 am to 3 pm at 26 Mill Hill Road, Woodstock for a day filled with fun activities, engaging speakers, and opportunities to learn about environmental conservation and appreciation of God's creation.
The Earth Care Fair promises something for everyone, from seed planting on the lawn to fly casting demonstrations and a variety of other resources designed to help attendees connect with the earth and its wonders."We are thrilled to invite the community to join us for a day of celebration and education," said The Rev.Sonja Maclary, pastor of the congregation. "Our goal is to foster a deeper appreciation for the environment and encourage stewardship of God's creation."
Throughout the event, attendees will have the chance to hear from local speakers and demonstrators, including Maralee Manos Jones, known affectionately as "The Butterfly Lady," Julia Santos-Solomon, the artist who created the congregation’s “Woodstock Visual Peace” mural, Trout Unlimited who will offer fly casting demonstrations, and others. These experts will share their insights and experiences, inspiring attendees to take action to protect and preserve our natural world.
