Synod Council Retreat 2022

The Synod Council serves as the board of directors of the synod, in between meetings of the Synod Assembly. This annual retreat offers a time for the Synod Council to grow spiritually and in relationship with one another.

Interfaith Call to Peace for Ukraine

All our religious traditions call us to pray and work for peace. We join our voices and hands together. We must open our eyes to those who are suffering, and we cannot remain indifferent to the injustice this conflict has brought on the people of Ukraine and may bring on people of neighboring countries.

2023 ELCA World Hunger Committee | Domestic Hunger Grant Cycle

The 2023 ELCA World Hunger Domestic Hunger Grant Cycle has opened!

Ministries within our Synod that address the root causes of hunger are encouraged to apply for these grants which are awarded as much as $10,000 per year, for 3 years. Applicants need to register with "ELCA GrantMaker" by May 6th before they can access the application  (it takes about 3 days to receive registration approval).  The application period runs from April 11 through May 20, 2022.
