2025 Western Nassau Conference Report

We have really not done too much together although there have been many changes to our respective congregations. Our Savior Glen Head remains active and healthy. Our Savior, Port Washington and St. Andrews, West Hempstead have called pastors and Our Savior, Manhasset is currently in the call process. Lutheran Social Services has moved to Ascension, Franklin Square. Our Saviour, Mineola houses the Lutheran Counseling Center and feeds 360 families every Saturday. Christ, New Hyde Park, Christ, Floral Park and Gloria Dei, New Hyde Park are working on a collaboration.
The collaboration of three congregations and the filling of three vacant pulpits are very exciting events in our conference and the relocation of LSS to our territory is also exciting.
Most of our congregations are very active in the community with regard to feeding and clothing ministries, shared worship spaces and immigration counseling.
