Western Suffolk Conference pastors meet monthly and worship together; take part in brief pericope study; discuss and share congregational issues. We hold a Pastor's Lenten Retreat each year with dynamic speakers, worship service and we appreciate time together to share.
We support each other as best we can. On Sunday, February 25, 2024, we held a Western Suffolk Conference Choir Concert at Ascension Lutheran Church in Deer Park with choirs and musicians from many of our congregations participating as a fundraiser to assist Trinity Lutheran Church, Wyandanch, with converting to gas in their building. HERE to watch the concert. We plan to continue meeting regularly, offering our Pastor's Lenten Retreat, and supporting each other, especially in times of need.
Many of our congregations sponsor food pantries and soup kitchens, preschools, and other community outreach programs. The communities we serve can actively participate and support our ministries.
