We Are Resilient TOGETHER

The Diaconate Council has met regularly both in person and via zoom to care for the needs of the Diaconate.

We Are Hopeful TOGETHER

Finally we have been able to gather in person to “Set Apart “ 19 new Synodically Rostered Deacons. This was done on Saturday June 19, 2021 with Bishop Egensteiner presiding.

Planning ahead, the Council created two new committees in an effort to better inform and bring all of our deacons closer together. The vision: that the work of these two committees will be support resources that will enable our deacons to better accomplish their ministries in community.

God's Work. Our Hands, TOGETHER

Community can be involved by better communicating and educating themselves as to what the diaconate is and does. Now that sounds a bit one sided, but both learning and communicating are two way streets. For progress to be realized there needs to be give and take from everyone involved. The Diaconate will always be ready and open to thoughts, ideas, questions, concerns, and to working together.
