Engaging your faith this summer Tweet With Memorial Day marking the start of summer for many, have you made plans for how your faith will be shaped? We’ve compiled a short list of ideas to enrich your summer! Looking for a new book? Being the 500th anniversary year of the reformation, there are many new titles available that you can take to the beach, on a plane, or wherever your travels might take you. See our updated list of print resources here and links for where to order them. Want to get outdoors? There are multiple camps and summer programs in our area. Check out Koinonia’s programs for all ages, Camp Ma-He-Tu’s summer camps for girls, and Pinecrest Lutheran Leadership Program for ages 15-25. Would you like to serve your community? ELCA World Hunger has created a couple of guides that can get you started with starting a community garden or hosting a community food drive with youth. Hoping to learn more? Many of our congregations offer Vacation Bible Schools and special adult forums in the summer. Find a church and see what they might have to offer! Ready to join in? See a listing of synod, congregation, partner, and Reformation 500 events here. And add an event from your congregation or organization here. Back to news
