The Advocacy Taskforce of the Bishop's 2025 Vision is sending 117 winter clothing sets (pictured below) to migrant minors in the metro New York area that were separated from their families. These winter clothing sets include a winter coat, gloves, and a scarf in every care package.
Members of the Advocacy Taskforce are passionate about the important work the Metropolitan New York Synod commits itself to year-round, which includes caring for the stranger, advocating for our queer siblings, fighting racism, respecting our environment, feeding the hungry, sheltering the homeless, and aiding the poor. "We are hoping these gifts can provide a bit of warmth during the holiday season to those that need our help and care the most."
