New Hope was constituted of three struggling African-American Lutheran churches within a four-mile radius of each other.
Our purpose has been focused on the six marks of discipleship: reading the Bible, daily prayer, weekly worship, relationships that encourage spiritual growth, giving time, talent, and resources, and serving beyond the walls of New Hope.
New Hope has the spirit of unity and love. In relationship to this spirit, New Hope is blessed with many talented, dedicated, and hard-working professionals. Individuals serve on various ministries/committees that complete tasks needed and ensure the smooth administration of the congregation as it continues to move forward in its overall mission and ministry. New Hope leaders are committed to achieving a clear vision of the whole congregation being disciples, not just members.
