February 2: Bishop's pre-identification process begins. (Pre-identification indicates when a pastor on the roster of the ELCA is identified as having the gifts and skills necessary to serve as bishop. Pre-identification may come through individuals, congregations, or conferences.)
February 10: Deadline for resolutions and memorials. These are due by end of day, to [email protected]
February 11: Synod Council Members registration closes
February 11: Early Registration closes. (All payment must be received by February 11, or the regular registration rate will apply.)
February 12: Regular registration begins
February 21: Deadline for photo submissions for 2024-25 Anniversaries

March 1: Deadline for all AV and scripts for those given agenda time. These are due by end of day, to [email protected]
March 4: Bishop's pre-identification process ends
March 6: Deadline for Bulletin of Reports
March 6: Display table request deadline
March 6: Ad space request deadline
March 6: Coffee Hour request deadline
March 11: Notification of granted space for display table, coffee hour or ad space
March 14: Payments for display table requests are due by end of day
March 14: Payments for ad space requests are due by end of day
March 14: Payments for Coffee Hour requests are due by end of day
March 18: Bishop's pre-identification profiles posted on mnys.org

April 3: Hotel registration rate expires
April 7: Online registration closes. (All payments must be received by April 7, or the onsite registration rate will apply.)
April 7: Last day to cancel a meal plan
April 17: Bulletin of Reports is published
April 17: Synod Assembly resources are made available online
April 20-27: Conferences meet before the assembly to review documents to prepare voting members for the assembly

May 2: On-site registration fees apply. Voting members will not be given assembly materials, if a participant has a balance due.
May 2-3: Synod Assembly
May 5: Synod office is closed
