Advent is a season in the Church calendar dedicated to hopeful anticipation for the arrival or “advent” of Jesus of Nazareth. At St. Barnabas, we prepare for his arrival with various activities such as decorating the church, a visit from St. Nick, stirring up the Christmas Pudding, a visit from Santa Lucia, and finally a presentation from our Sunday School kids.
